Welcome to our Client’s Corner

Hello Family and Friends,

In traveling with my clients during these offshore deliveries, we often create a bond that is stronger than most customer/business relationships.  We share the hardships of offshore passagemaking, the rigors of trying to cook and eat while being tossed around in a seaway, and the close personal quarters that many boats require.

With all that ’sharing’ going on offshore, I wanted to create a space where my clients – and friends – could comment about their experiences.  These posts are all in their words.  I don’t change words, do spell checks or edit them in any way.  And, even if I received a less than flattering post, it will be here.

So, click away….  My client’s now have the soapbox!

This note is to anyone who might be contemplating a passage with Captain Blaine. My girlfriend Jill and I have just completed a 1600 NM plus trip with Blaine and First Mate Kristofer from Norfolk to St. Thomas in our IP 465. It was a specatcular 12 day trip…complete with whale sightings…numerous dolphin swim alongs…great weather and winds…horrible weather and winds…no weather and winds…and an at sea replenishment of 100 gallons of diesel fuel from a passing Greek Freighter. Other than those things it was just a casual 1629 NM joyride. (more…)
