Why I Sail
Thursday, August 21st, 2008Meeting Joe – Required Reading
Friday, July 25th, 2008Those close to me know that I have this habit – this thing that I do each day. I try to meet one new person, someone I would probably never normally meet, each and every day. Sometimes I strike up a conversation with a homeless man; sometimes a stranger in an elevator, airplane or while waiting in line (always waiting somewhere). I call it my ‘One-a-Day Challenge’. The stories – and the people I meet – are often surprisingly interesting.

Introductory Post
Thursday, April 3rd, 2008This is an introductory post to simply act as a placemarker when the Flotsam & Jetsam category is empty – which is most of the time except when I’m at sea and sending nightly updates. Once I arrive back in port, I will always move the Flotsam posts into a new category to help keep the site organized.
Thanks for stopping by – if there’s posts in here, you can rest assured that I’m somewhere on the ocean trying to keep a boat afloat and keep my crew safely aboard.
